If any of the great strip artists had a unique and easily recognizable style, it was certainly David Wright. His use of cross-hatching was unmatched. He was able to create so much variety with his lines - textures, moods, and atmosphere. Here's one of the earliest Carol Day strips - #43!! Stunning!
