I’ve been a huge fan of Italian artist Milo Manara since I first read An Author in Search of Six Characterspublished by Heavy Metal magazine back in the 80’s. Around the same time “…Six Characters” was published, Manara also created the first Giuseppe Bergman story. Both showcase Manara at his artistic peak. I’ve studied these pieces so closely and I still can’t figure out what he used to get the lines he does - but they sure are pretty! Like a lot of Manara’s work, the pages were done in tiers - four tiers taped together to make a full page. I’m offering two of the four tiers for sale here.
